The Apple iPhone 4S is another beginning with the introduction of Siri.
Siri is a program that lives on Apples server that uses Artificial Intelligence.
Siri is very accurate with voice recognition and it is in the Beta as far as the commands that it will perform directly. Remember it is an Apple product and it will get better as time goes on. Making appointments, Reminders, Directions, Searching the Web work as advertised. Also the dictation feature is flawless.
The speed of the phone is very good. Sound quality is very good but a little tinny for my taste.
I am on the Sprint network and this might be a function of the network. I like the sprint network as I get good signal strength in the Denver Area.
The camera is excellent quality. A 8 megapixel as opposed to the 5 megapixel on the iPhone 4. Very fast,sharp, and breath taking images with the HDR function which combines 3 exposures together. I have a couple examples of images below.
The Display is the same size as the iPhone 4. I believe Apple did this because of Siri. Why make the phone display larger is you are using voice commands?
Battery life after the 5.01 update is very impressive! I gave the phone very heavy use and I still have 45% left at the end of the day.
